Fascia and Scar Therapy

Fascia and Scar Therapy

Increase mobility
Reduce stress
Feel free

Fasciae give the body shape, support and structure. They can be very firm and dense or form a loose net. Every muscle, every organ, every gland has its own fascia, its own sheath.
Since all fasciae are interconnected, changes (surgery, inflammation, overload, etc.) have a direct effect on the whole body. A few examples illustrate this best:

  • Abdominal surgery many years ago caused internal scar tissue in the abdomen. These scars prevented the person from standing up straight and shoulder problems developed due to this lack of alignement.
  • Varicose veins are often associated with a blocked outflow caused by, for example, a clogged colon or the scar of abdominal surgery.

During the therapy, the tissue is tested for its mobility and local pressure is applied to the skin/tissue layers with the fingertips until the adhesion has dissolved.

In general, you move much better afterwards, feel free again, can straighten up again and pain is significantly less to completely gone.

“Healing does not mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives”
